His client base has included companies, financial sponsors, secured and unsecured lenders, bondholders and other parties-in-interest. He has advised clients across a broad range of industries, with significant experience in financial services, specialty finance, asset management, real estate, industrials, building products, business services and consumer-related businesses.
Representative engagements include Finance of America, PrimaLend Capital Partners, American Dream Mall, Yak Access, Resolute Investment Managers, TortoiseEcofin, PWM Property Management, Armstrong Flooring, Briggs & Stratton, Home Point Capital, Ditech Financial, Walter Investment Management, Residential Capital and MFA Financial.
Prior to joining SOLIC, Mr. Lewis spent 17 years at Houlihan Lokey, where he was a Managing Director in the firm’s Financial Restructuring Group. During his tenure, he advised companies, financial sponsors and creditor constituencies on more than $10 billion of restructuring, liability management, capital raising and M&A transactions. Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Lewis spent approximately 13 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he ultimately led the New York restructuring practice of PwC’s Corporate Advisory and Restructuring group.
Mr. Lewis received his MBA in Finance and Accounting from Vanderbilt University and his BBA in Finance and BA in Political Science from The University of Texas at Austin. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
